Kristina A. Cerniglia is the senior vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) for Hillenbrand.
In this role, Ms. Cerniglia leads the company’s finance organization, overseeing financial planning and analysis, reporting, tax, treasury, investor relations and internal audit. She also oversees Hillenbrand's enterprise information systems department, ensuring increased accessibility to data while supporting business needs and objectives. Ms. Cerniglia plays a critical role in shaping Hillenbrand’s strategy, as well as leading the company’s engagement with investors and analysts.
Ms. Cerniglia has more than 25 years of financial experience. Before assuming the role as Hillenbrand’s CFO, she served as vice president and corporate controller at Stanley Black & Decker, an $11 billion global provider of power and hand tools, mechanical access solutions and electronic monitoring systems. She also spent nine years of her career at United Technologies Corporation in various financial roles.
Ms. Cerniglia has a bachelor’s degree in finance from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts. She and her husband, Marc, reside in Batesville with their two children.
