Effective April 1, 2008, Hillenbrand Industries, Inc., completed the spin-off of its funeral services business, Batesville Casket Company.
Subsequently, Hillenbrand Industries changed its name to Hill-Rom Holdings, Inc.(NYSE:HRC), with Hill-Rom, the medical technology company, as its sole operating company.
The newly named Hillenbrand, Inc. (NYSE:HI) is now the parent for Batesville Casket Company.
